All lanes of the Suitland Parkway have reopened, officials said.
Northbound Suitland Parkway was closed in Prince George’s County during Friday’s rush hour after a crash, officials said.
At around 4:50 p.m., the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination Program tweeted that the northbound parkway was closed at Naylor Road after a crash involving multiple vehicles. The left lane of the southbound parkway was also blocked, the tweet said, and southbound delays began at the Douglass Bridge, stretching about three miles.
