GETTING THERE
Millwood, Va., is about 70 miles from downtown Washington. Take Interstate 66 west about 50 miles to Exit 23 onto U.S. Route 17 north/Virginia Route 55 west. In eight miles, turn left onto U.S. Route 17 north/U.S. Route 50 west, and in 6.5 miles, right onto Bishop Meade Road. The mill is on the left in less than a mile.

From May 18 until November, except during Art at the Mill, the mill grinds grain and corn every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Open to visitors on Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Donations welcome.
